I have a question about the table called ID that gets created as part of your project. The field that contains the table name (keyname) is 20 characters long. We have some tables in our DBC that are 25-30 character long. When we ran uniqueidsetup on these tables it appeared to go through smoothly. However, when testing by appending a blank to the table, we got a 'data type mismatch' error. We went to the ID prg in the stored procedures to try to see if there was something obvious. After a few minutes of searching, we concluded that we could possibly change the width of field in the ID table to be longer. We did so, and reran uniqueidsetup on our table with the long file name. When we went to browse mode to test and appended a blank it worked fine. My question is, can I get into trouble by changing the width of that field (keyname)?
