Using SQL Server 7.0 as the back-end, I have a remote view for product table where all fields are displayed and updateable. When the view is set to 3 or 5-buffermodeoverride and then issued tableupdate after inserting a record it fails because when I close the form and open it again, records inserted are gone. I tried setting buffermodeoverride to 1, insert a record and it succeed. What's happeining here guys? I reviewed the settings of the view i.e. update criteria, update all, sql update etc. but to no avail.
