Hi Kev,
Oh yes, there are a number of other functions that the WSH supports. For example, you might check yesterday's Win32 and other APIs for a thread on retrieving the last access, last modifed and creation date and times for a file. In that thread, I was asked about other resources. Here's part of my response, "If you're an MSDN subscriber, you may already have some information. If so, there are probably three help files you'll what to look at VBSCRIP5.CHM, WSH.CHM, and SHELLCC.CHM. There's also information at the Microsoft site I mentioned earlier in this thread, I believe. There's also "The Windows Script Host Programmers Reference" by Dino Esposito from Wrox Press (ISBN 1-861002-65-3)."
Yes, there is a function to disconnect a network drive (RemoveNetworkDrive()). It takes the drive specifier as a parameter. There are other optional parameters as well. The network object also can let you enumerate network drives and printers, as well as adding and removing printer connections, and setting the default printer.
