It does? SCCText.Prg should remove all memo fields from the SCA/VCA file that might contain binary fields, but I can't say for sure, because I haven't used the original one for years now. *s*

In any case, when you add a file to VSS, you can specify whether it's binary, text or VSS should automatically detect what it is. The default value is Auto.
