My understanding was that you only had to pay royalties if you were shipping a shrink wrapped application. If you are developing custom aps there was no royalty. (My understanding.)
Also, I, since I do work with a 'shink wrapped' product checkinto the roayalties... they were actually cheaper per unit than it would of been had we provided R&R or Crystal Reports license to the customer. Licenses needed since we allow users to modify reports.) Also, the royalty we paid to ship to one client, would give them UNLIMITED users (or tied to our own user count)... where as, a License to R&R would have been a single user license... for about the same price, actually, as I said, FoxFire was a bit cheaper depending on which option you choose to pay royalties.
