Thanks. I tried this but can't get it to work because (excuse my ignorance) the key is "whenevery you get a new scanrun->formchar". I get that when they choose it from the combo box. But I can't find a method in the combo box to put the thisform.refresh in that will work. When I use the Click event, it cancels out whatever is chosen in the combo box (the choice is ignored). When I use the InteractiveChangeEvent, the list box is not changed.
It frustrates me that Dan Born's solution works in the debugger but not without it. Is that a clue?
