Hi Mike,
Have you installed IE 5 on these machines?
I have found, in our company with about 85 users,
that Installing IE 5 After Installing SP 3 cures about
98% of all the C000005 Errors.
If you are running IE 5, try Re-Installing IE 5 on one of the machines
and let me know what happens...
