Actually, depending on you knowledge of VFP and OOP, Codebook can be very confusing. The learning curve for Codebook is extremely steep, especially if you're new to VFP and OOP.

If you want something up-to-date try Mere Mortals Framework. It's not any easier than Codebook but at least its up-to-date. The best thing to do is to get training for Mere Mortals Framework for VFP.

I have to admit learning true OOP take software development into a whole new level (at least for me it did).
