My understanding is that for several years, Tech Conferences (TCI) handled the logistics while Advisor handled the marketing for "DevCon". Last year, there was a kind of a nasty parting of the ways between these two, and TCI decided to create their own conference (since that's the business they're in). They've called it DevCon 2000 Connections, which is sure to cause confusion for folks (the title of this thread is proof of that <g>).

I think both conferences will be well-organized, great events. I wonder about how having two major conferences will split the market, but I guess all we can do it see how things go this year.
