Quality of the control has little to do with it. VFP doesn't integrate well with ActiveX controls that serve as containers - holders of other controls, like the CoolBar-type controls, and others are sloppy about handling the control interface - either not providing completely compliant interfaces, or relying on internal VB behaviors if they're primarily desgined as VB widgets. Unfortunately, there are some great controls on the market that just don't play by rules that VFP can live with.
