This is a possible scenario
Of 5 existing matching a query, 3 are incorrect.
2 Users decide to make the same corrections at about the same time.
User 1, decides to delete the 3 incorrect ones and insert 3 correct ones.
User 2, decides to edit the 3 incorrect records.

User 1 issues the first save (TableUpdate), 3 records are deleted and 3 new ones added. When user 2 issues his TableUpdate and Requeries, he sees User1's inserted records instead of what he edited. This could be very confusing if the data input by User 1 is not identical in every respect to what User 2 input.
