Why is it necessary to use "a parser" to get Foxpro EXE's to run from Web pages.

What is parsed, the string of parameters from the form?

Why is it so difficult that we have to use a 3rd party product?

I need to understand this stuff step by step becauseI live on an island with no native economy and if I can't run database programs from the Web I'm soon going to be out of money.
