I've seen Visual AccountMate code and it looks much more OOPy. For some reason, though, they don't use capitalization. Not a big deal, obviously, but rather an annoyance in otherwise decent code.
If I had a choice, I wouldn't touch it (SBT) either. But I don't get to decide what we sell.

>I wasn't asked either, but for what it's worth, I've had the chance to see the code for the latest version because I was offered a contract to do some customizing. For the first time in my life, I turned down a contract - a good paying one at that. The code seemed so old I was afraid to touch the damn thing - and I didn't want to mess with it. I got pissed just looking at it.
>I think what's happened is that these guys wrote a pretty fancy DOS version years ago and have spent the last 5 or 6 years patching the damn thing to death.
>I know there are a lot of other accounting packages out there written in VFP, they can't all be as shaky as this one. Save your money, save your time. Look elsewhere. Just my 2 cents.

>>Oooh, they saved their forms as classes. Big deal. They still have all the method code stuck into one huge prg. They still use old DOS screen code in their reports. They still use arrays of temp tables as controlsources.

>>So what's the big attraction of this new version? You can make it so every user sees a different screen. That outta make tech support fun.

>>I give it a big thumbs down. Makes me thankful my boss isn't in a hurry to use the latest version of anything.
