I usually only stop there first 'cause they're the closest. Maybe I've never been "accosted" in quite the way you have, for if I was, I'm sure I would share your opinion!
You've got try listening to one of the local sales reps bad-mouth HP (which they probably get a low profit margin on) in favor of the CompUSA store box even when the features are virtually identical but the no-name costs more!
