When I use a calculated field in a VFP 3 Local View, I like to give the new field a name, so that I know what to call the field in reports, etc. I use something like:

Allt(FirstName) + ' ' + Allt(LastName) as FullName

If I modify the view, the AS statement goes away. Any way to keep it?
