Some of my users are on the phone a lot a while they use my reservation system. They need all the speed they can get. Do you have any general tips for increasing speed?

For instance, I recently tripled the update speed in a grid by using a native grid rather than the VFE grid object and updating a cursor rather than rows of a work table.
