Actually, this is probably a strictly Frontpage 2000 question. (I tried to access the other forums in UT, but only VFP is avialable, what happeded to the other forums?). I decided to use frontpage (for the 1st time) to build the customer editing screen that is part of the step 6 template web connection step by step 3.0 tutorial. When I create the submit form, and then look at the HTML generated, in the Form Method line, I get:

" form method = 'POST' action = '--WEBBOT-SELF--' "

which generates an error when running the vfp wc code. However, I can not change the 'webbot-self' stuff. Frontpage changes it right back. I went out to notepad and changed it to

" form method = 'POST' action = 'SaveCustomer.wp' "

and the web program worked as expected. I re-opened the HTML page in frontpage and the 'webbot' stuff is back.

Where does this come from and how do I get rid of it??
