Is it possible to connect a VFP application via the Internet without using HTML?

Here is want I want to do:
1. Have the VFP exe program on a Win98 user computer
2. Have the DBC on the NT Server computer
3. Use the internet connection to go between both just as a link in a LAN without having to use HTML.

If so, please tell me how to do it.
