To me, distributed development means...

COM, DCOM, MTS, MSMQ, and Stateless business objects. A concentration on creating middle tier components and how to build them so various front ends can use then, supporting XML and ADO to pass data.

We want to know how to create Asyn processes run in the middle tier, and how to deal with starting and getting statuses from various front ends. And, don't dismiss VFP front ends... I want to build n-Tier aps with VFP in the front and middle... Rick Strahl prefers IIS and HTTP, I'd like to see some solid stuff on COM and COM+ of course.
