None of them. Any magazine makes money by selling ads. The owner of a magazine or the publisher sets up a ratio between ads and contents which (the number of issue considered) gives her or him the desired pay back. Advisor Publications changed the ratio for all Advisor magazines a year or two ago to about 50:50, AFAIK. The more ads are printed, the more articles we can put into the magazine.
