Inheritance is great, but when I look at my latest class hierarchies, they usually are VFP base class -> my own base class (with 2 properties and 8 methods) -> subclass. And that's it usually. Most things are done by collaboration or aggregation, not by inheritance.

Yes, if we are talking about using the local VFP database. But since more and more developers go into the direction of ADO, OLEDB and such technologies, this advantage doesn't count anymore.
