To use TIFF files in a General field, you'd need to have a program such as PaintShopPro that is capable of acting as an OLE Server on each target machine. General fields require the use of OLE automation.

If all you need to do is display/print the files, you migth consider using a simple ActiveX control that supports TIFF format like the Wang Image controls.

VFP is not a graphics editor - you'd need some other piece of software to convert the format to something you could manipulate, and if that were available, I suspect that you could then use the TIFF file directly through a generla field. It's sort of a "You can't get there from here" dilemma - VFP doesn't do the work itself, you have to give it something to do the work needed.
