Hi,

We have written a client / server app using SPT. The back-end can be Visual FoxPro, Oracle or SQL Server.

We have a problem in saving memo fields. If a small amount of data is placed in a memo field then everything is ok. However, a large amount of data in any memo field causes our tableupdates to fail for Oracle or SQL Server. Visual FoxPro works fine, regardless.

The app is written in VFP 6 / SP3. We are using Oracle 7.5 and SQL Server 6.5.

The data type for the memo fields is as follows:

VFP: Memo
SQL Server: Text
Oracle: VarChar2(2000)

Can anyone help us out on this ?
