I have recently run into a very strange occurrence with one of my applications. I have set up a system where I have an app file that calls
Out to 9 application files. Recently 1 of my clients has been complaining about her entire computer freezing up
When running only 1 of my applications, on the menu hit I am loading various different classes, and as the classes
From this 1 particular application start loading, the system freezes entirely. The user can't even hit control-alt-delete
And the mouse is completely frozen. I had this user go to a different terminal for a day and the same thing happened
On the other machine as well. I sent then all new DLL files compiled the app in vfp 5.0 & 6.0 and the same thing happens.
This does not happen every time though, probably around once every 30 times that a class is loaded, and its multiple different
Classes that this happens to. This client is running a Novell network, all the files are flagged as shareable-read- write
I reindexed and packed every single different dbf file. Now I found out yesterday that another client is experiencing
The same problems, they are also running on a Novell network. Please let me know if there are any know
Solutions to my problems or if you can think of any steps that would help resolve the problem.
