I'm confused. Is NumberofElements = ALEN(array) or 7?

Regardless, reset number of elements to default (right-click in designer) and see if that helps. Depending on how your array is maintained, it could be determining the number of elements at the wrong time.

My Number of elements is set to =ALEN(thisform.emp) , Rowsource = thisform.emp, NumberOfElements = 7 and FirstElement = 1.
