I missed that. I have a grid with 5 columns and 4 of them contain custom controls (containers of textboxes) and the only column that continues to move when it gets focus is the one containing a single textbox. Setting HightLightRow to .F. has stopped it for all other controls. The striking difference that I see is a BorderStyle property for the textbox, Go figger. I will let you know if I find anything else here. No clue at present.
