You know, this actually is evidence that contradicts a posting by Rick Strahl that claims that you lose the advantage of VFP's caching whenever you use an in-process vs out-of-process DLL. If VFP's engine keeps the DBF open within an MTDLL, then you lose no time on the opening/caching of a DBF and its indices on each use of the object.

I've never tried it. Was just wondering what might happen.
