I have it working now. I moved the code from the function into the valid event of the button and used this line of code at the end instead of the show gets.

thisformset.loccont.pageframe1.page1.lstcontact19.requery()
thisformset.loccont.pageframe1.page1.txtM_totcou55.value = m.totcount
