Amen!!!! A book that said "here is a practical example that is more complicated than Hello World" would be awesome!!! Too many books come up really simple examples on complex topics and never go the next step. Two paragraphs on theoretical and 10 on real world would make the NY Times best seller list :-}

Along this line, hit those "common things you run into". If you resolve two problems I've run into trying to implement ADO, ASP, IIS, yada, yaa, yada you've made the book cost effective.
