Not a challenge, but at least a hope that Something had rubbed off accidentally and left some non-visual humor instincts that could be honed. You did know that before, the movies, there was a TV show? Parrot Sketch? I'm not challenging you - I just am trying to gauge the amount of damage done via sensory deprivation!!!! ;-)

>Honestly, I consider my self fairly in touch with 60's and 70's Television and music and movies (especially around class mates) but I don't know anyhting about radio, except Murphy Brown's dad ;-)

There's still time - we can start intensive re-education as long as you know who Eric Idle is. It's not too late yet. If you do hit the Amazon site (not with the intention of buying from them) I pointed you to earlier this evening, you'll find a number of clips from Lehrer's work that you might enjoy.

Firesign Theater was a group of very bizarre people who put out a series of great comedy albums. I Think We're All Bozos On This Bus was the first piece of humor poked at programming, automation and and similar topics that really stuck in my head. Worth a listen. Or two. Or 10. Lots of material. Political satire, especially musically-inclined political and cultural satire did strange things to a few of us. We stopped twitching a few years ago in most cases...
