Cindy,

>Fortunately we've had power and ISP all day. Lots of folks are without though. I'm a "non-essential" employee, so I'm not camped out at the hospital like lots of folks.

That is fortunate, considering the amount of snow you got! Here in Atlanta, we got a good coating of ice early Sunday, and awoke about 3 am to the "snap, crackle, pop" of pine trees crashing down all around. We're still without power at our house, although they got the neighborhood back up tonight (Tuesday).

Sunday afternoon we were eating soup warmed at the fireplace, and heard this horrendous sound -- like a tree coming through the roof. It wasn't, but was the electric meter box and mast being ripped off the side of the house by another falling limb. Our power won't be back until the electrician works his way down the list to us.

The family has been camped out at a motel, and I've been camped out at the bookstore, so I can get some work done.

Our fractional T-1 was performing dismally today, since our ISP is in Raleigh and their techies couldn't get to work to reboot the servers that were down. Finally sped up about 3 Tuesday afternoon.

I hope you will be able to "play" a bit in this historic snow.
