This usually gives no problem at all. The related records are deleted. When you've got a releated record open in another dataenviroment and you change the records, the TABLEUPDATE() will fail (update conflict or RI). Of course you can handle these errors and refresh the state of of the form or dataenviroment where this other child table is openend.
