Nope not crazy! It's just insane trying to work around the problem! :-)
Just spent the last case actually in an insane manner pursuing a client for non-payment over a custom software development project that I let the client take me for a ride. Spent $11,000 in legal attempting to recover $6100 in damages thanks to a sleazy lawyer paid by a multi-millionaire doctor!
At least I recovered $2900 in damages.
MAJOR RULE!
Always prenegotiate all contracts with a stipulation to recover legal fees. This was from 1996! I'm less naive now!
Good Luck! I'll let you know if I ever solve it. There are some 3rd party ActiveX controls that do reports that can somewhat be scaled but they don't support the native VFP Report Engine. One of them advertises in FoxPro Advisor.
