An NT system with no local printer and no Windows Default Printer assigned for the current user context maybe? Try frobbing around in HKCU\Printers somewhere; it's got to be network attached for this to happen. Other a;lternatives would t find a print device assignment under HKCU\Network, and start looking for devices like LPT1
