No, thet're a neat Active Desktop "thing" by my friend Joe Rosenman - lets you pop up a little notepad, write yourself a note, and then 'stick' the note on a surface - the desktop, or toss it on an icon so that whenever you double-clicked the icon the note would pop up before the app launched, a systray or taskbar item or button, etc. There are probably a half-a-dozen similar little 'things' that people use as little PostIt notes to themselves, Joe's idea that I liked was to be able to attach them to Active Desktop events as well as hng them in mid-screen.
