I've seen the same problem with my applications. In my case the problem lies in the classes attached to my apps. If I inmediately compile a second time, the exe files is larger than the first time. I discovered that if compiled another app making use of the same classes before the first one, the size gets normal again. In both cases I use the RECOMPILE clause of the build exe command.
