Thanks Harry

Luckily I was in denial about the usefulness of bought in frameworks for a while and was determined to create my own framework like I had done in 2.6 (although this usually meant just copying my last app forward and deleting all that did not apply <g>).

As a result I have managed to get 6 months of solid OOP in and have already turned in a couple of half decent applications in using my own home spun application object.

This involved using my own classes and even creating business objects (I had fun getting my head around them <g>)

It was the realisation that it would take me about a year of coding to replicate my 2.6 framework that finally made me crack and decide to use someone elses code.

After much swotting up I have decided that Maxframe will be the most gentle on me since it has the philosophy of using objects when they are needed and procedual code when it is needed. I believe that it will not force such a rigid structure on me as VPM.
