Jim, because when a record is deleted you can RECALL it (undelete) the primery index which index any record in the table (you can have it filtered but it is highly not recomended) will not allow a duplicates even with deleted records recycling is RECALLing and blanking all the fields but the index Arnon > I want to recycle the deleted records in a table.
