Turbo Pascal is similar to C in some ways but is an easier language to learn, I think. I have about 6 years experience in Pascal and about 6 months in C. If I was better at C++, I would stay with VFP and design my front-end in C++ and use VFPs data engine. But that is not the case for me yet.
