If you don't think that inheritance is the most, or even one of the most abused features of OOP, you are clearly living in a cave. There are tons of discussions that relate to this topic.

FWIW, the cite in G&H compares and contrasts composition and inheritance, and in turn, discusses the pros and cons of each. Many folks tend to use inheritance as their sole hammer, as opposed to giving consideration to composition.
