A couple weeks ago there was a thread about SEEKing in a non-selected area not working IF the selected area was at EOF(). Could this be the reason Dave's co-worker had trouble? I've had some intermittent problems with =SEEK(...), and finally decided to do a SELECT each time before a SEEK.
