Large Fonts have different fontmetrics than Small Fonts. It's generally recommended to stay away from Large Fonts because of this. With the ability to set the font preferences to a larger point size I find there isn't any reason to use large fonts at higher display resolutions.

You didn't name the FontName the control is using, you should make sure it's a TrueType font.
