I have had all sorts of trouble creating grids with cursors, but being a simple minded fellow this is what I do:
In the command window I create a table exactly as my cursor to be - I then create a grid on the form using the builder pointing to my new table. I can then set everthing out visually to what I want. Finally I blank all the control sources and record sources (I forget which, but they all must go), delete yje table then in the Init of the form I set the control source to the cursor (after I create the cursor of course)
