Um... Doug Hennigs report objects do manipulate a standard FRX. I am not saying that what you are propsing isn't interesting... it actually goes beyond what Doug did... but, you may look at his for ideas... or even as a base of comparison... but, you should ALWAYS know your competition, and it sounds like you do not.
