I have successfully automated Pegasus Mail with VFP6, using DDE. Using a client database, I was able to send personalized newsletters. I suppose it all depends on what email program you are using, unless you are wanting to use VFP as a native emailer, communicating directly with a mail server. If you have an email program that has documentation on accessing its protocols, you should be able to automate it.
