I don't buy this. Most Foxpro code still runs in VFP. Inheritance is a feature, it won't affect backwards compatibility.

Once again, I don't think this scared people away from VFP, it was the general move from all products to VB.

Agreed, but I would say it is important for all tiers in an n-tier system.
