>I am pre-lingual Deaf (means I lost my hearing befor acquiring language) and therefore, oral English is a second language. (I have some residual hearing that allows me to hear sound with hearing aids.) Like most Deaf people my thinking is very spaceial (shapes, movements, flows, places in space). That way of thinking has served me very well in programming and accounting. That way of thinking alows me to see data flowing in my mind. Actually Cindy is right, Deaf people have an advantage in programming. I wrote that P/S because Jim Booth tought a seminar and one of the sessions at DevCon where I used interpreters.

So, Greg, do you fly with an interpreter for the radio, or is it a small enough plane that radio is not used much?

I bet thinking spatially/3-dimentionally helps in flying too.
