One is not able to determine if a field has ever had a value. You could restore the field to being blank by using the BLANK command but you will never know if this has occurred in the past, that is putting in a non-zero value, delete the value then blanking it. All you would know is that it is now blank, not that it has never had a non-blank entry.

>In VFP browses a numeric field that has never had a value entered appears as blank. If a value, say zero, is entered, the value appears and if it is deleted, it will still display zero.
