Jeremiah, I still consider myself a novice at O-O VFP design, but I believe that the standard approach is for a tool bar to pass off most of the work to methods on the form. Thus the toolbar save button would identify the current form, verify that it has a SAVE method, and execute it.

Would this avoid your problems?
