The problem is likely some duplicate or illegal memo pointers. Fox cannot pack that. There is a cheap solution:
use the COPY TO AnotherTable command. Then AnotherTable will have your data and you should be able to pack
it. However the cheap solution does not tell you which record memo pointers had the problem.
You could try our 'Recover' uility at http://www.abri.com/
It should remove the problem pointers and make a list of the offending records/memos so you can take corrective
steps. Simply removing the symptoms will give you a false sense of solving the problem.
